Exodus 5:1 (b) And offre sacrifice.

Exodus 5:1 (!) Mosse and Aaron do their message to Pharaoh, who letteth not the people of Israel departe but opresseth them more and more.

Exodus 5:1 (a) Faith ouercommeth feare, and maketh men bolde in their vocation.

Exodus 5:3 (/) Ebr. Lest he mete vs with pestilence.

Exodus 5:3 (/) Or, God hathe met vs.

Exodus 5:5 (c) As thogh ye wolde rebel.

Exodus 5:6 (d) Which were of the Israelites and had charge to se them do their worke.

Exodus 5:9 (e) The more cruelly that tyrants rage, the nerer is Gods helpe.

Exodus 5:9 (f) Of Moses & Aaron.

Exodus 5:13 (/) Ebr. The worke of a day in his day.

Exodus 5:16 (/) Or, thy people the Egyptians are in the saue.

Exodus 5:17 (/) Ebr. idle, ye are idle.

Exodus 5:19 (/) Or, loked sad on them, which said.

Exodus 5:20 (!) They crye out vpon Moses & Aaron therefore, and Moses complaineth to God.

Exodus 5:21 (g) It is a grieuous thing to the seruants of God to be accused of euil, specially of their brethern, when they do as their duetie requireth.
