Geneva Bible Notes: Leviticus 1

Leviticus 1:1 (a) Hereby Moses declareth that he taught nothing to the people but that which he receiued of God.

Leviticus 1:2 (!) Of burnt offrings for particular persons.

Leviticus 1:2 (b) So thei colde offre of none other sort, but of those which were commanded.

Leviticus 1:3 (c) Meaning within the court of the Tabernacle.

Leviticus 1:3 (!) The maner to offre burnt offrings as wel of bullocks, as of shepe and birdes.

Leviticus 1:4 (/) Ebr. to him.

Leviticus 1:5 (d) The Priest or Leuite.
