Geneva Bible Notes: Leviticus 7

Leviticus 7:1 (a) Which is for the smaler sinnes & such as are commited by ignorance.

Leviticus 7:1 (!) The lawe of the trespasse offring.

Leviticus 7:2 (b) At the courte gate.

Leviticus 7:3 (c) The Priest.

Leviticus 7:7 (e) Meaning the rest which is left and not burnt.

Leviticus 7:7 (d) The same ceremonies: notwithstanding that this worde trespasse signifieth less then sinne.

Leviticus 7:10 (f) Because it had no oyle or licour.

Leviticus 7:11 (!) Also of the peace offrings.

Leviticus 7:12 (g) Peace offrings conteine a confession and thanks giuing for a benefite receiued, and also a vowe, & fre offring to receiue a benefite.

Leviticus 7:16 (h) If he make a vowe to offre: for els the flesh of the peace offrings must be eaten the same day.

Leviticus 7:18 (i) The sinne wherefore he offred shal remaine.

Leviticus 7:19 (l) Of the peace offring that is cleane.

Leviticus 7:19 (k) After it be sacrificed.

Leviticus 7:23 (!) The fat & the blood may not be eaten.

Leviticus 7:30 (m) And shulde not send it by another.

Leviticus 7:35 (n) That is, his priuiledge, rewarde and paytion.

Leviticus 7:37 (o) Which sacrifice was offred when the Priests were consecrated, {Exod. 29:22}.
