Geneva Bible Notes: Leviticus 22

Leviticus 22:2 (a) Meaning that the Priests absteine from eating , so long as they are polluted.

Leviticus 22:3 (b) To eat thereof.

Leviticus 22:3 (!) Who oght to abstiane from eating the things that were offred.

Leviticus 22:4 (c) By touching anie dead thing, or being at the burial of the dead.

Leviticus 22:5 (/) Ebr. according to all his vnclennes.

Leviticus 22:6 (/) Or, vntil.

Leviticus 22:7 (/) Or, bread.

Leviticus 22:10 (e) Some read, the seruant which had his eare bored and wolde not go fre, {Exod. 21,6}.

Leviticus 22:10 (d) Which is not of the tribe of Leui.

Leviticus 22:12 (f) Who is not of the Priests kinred.

Leviticus 22:14 (g) He shal giue that and a fift parte ouer.

Leviticus 22:16 (h) For if they did not offer for their errour, the people by their example might commit the like offence.

Leviticus 22:19 (!) What oblacions shulde be offred.

Leviticus 22:22 (/) Or, wart.

Leviticus 22:25 (i) Ye shal not receiue anie vnperfect thing of a stranger, to make it the Lords offring: which he calleth the bread of the Lord.

Leviticus 22:32 (k) For whosoeuer doeth otherwise then God commandeth, polluteth his name.
