Joshua 14:2 ^! The land of Canaan was deuided among the nine tribes and the halfe.

Joshua 14:3 ^a As Reuben & Gad & halfe the tribe of Manasseh.

Joshua 14:4 ^b So thogh Leui lacked, yet were there stil twelue tribes by this meanes.

Joshua 14:6 ^! Caleb requireth the heritage that was promised him.

Joshua 14:6 ^c Which was, that they two onely shulde enter into the land, {Nom. 14,24}.

Joshua 14:8 ^d Which were the ten other spies.

Joshua 14:11 ^/ Ebr. to go eat, and come in.

Joshua 14:12 ^e This he spake of modestie & not of douting.

Joshua 14:13 ^! Hebron was giuen him.

Joshua 14:15 ^f Ether for his power or persone.
