Joshua 15:1 (!) The lotte of the children of Iuday, and the names of the cities and villiages of the same.

Joshua 15:2 (a) The Ebrewe worde signifieth tongue, whereby is ment ether the arme of the Sea that commeth into the land, or a rocke or cape that goeth into the Sea.

Joshua 15:5 (b) Meaning the mouth of the riuer where it runneth into the salt Sea.

Joshua 15:6 (c) Which was a marke to parte their countreyes.

Joshua 15:7 (/) Or, the ??? of the sunne.

Joshua 15:8 (/) Ebr. Rephaim.

Joshua 15:9 (/) Or, the citie of woods.

Joshua 15:47 (i) Meaning Nilus, as {chap. 13,3}.

Joshua 15:62 (l) Of this citie the salt Sea hathe his name.
