1 Samuel 27:1 ^! Dauid fleeth to Achish King of Gath, who giueth him Ziklag.

1 Samuel 27:1 ^a Dauid distrusteth Gods protection, and therfore fleeth vnto the idolaters, who were enemies to Gods people.

1 Samuel 27:3 ^b Thus God by his prouidence changeth the enemies hearts & maketh them to fauour him, in their necessitie.

1 Samuel 27:5 ^c Let thine officers appoint one a place.

1 Samuel 27:7 ^/ Ebr the noumber of the dayes.

1 Samuel 27:8 ^! Dauid destroyeth certeine of the Philistems.

1 Samuel 27:8 ^d These were the wicked Canaanites, whome God had appointed to be destroyed.

1 Samuel 27:10 ^/ Or, against whome.

1 Samuel 27:10 ^! Achish deceyued by Dauid.
