2 Samuel 1:2 (a) Seming to lament the ouerthrowe of the people of Israel.

2 Samuel 1:4 (!) It was tolde Dauid of Sauls death.

2 Samuel 1:6 (/) Or, captaines.

2 Samuel 1:6 (b) As I fled in the chase.

2 Samuel 1:8 (c) He was an Amalekite borne, but renounced his contrey &joyned with the Israelites.

2 Samuel 1:9 (d) I am sory, because I am yet aliue.

2 Samuel 1:10 (/) Ebr. I stode vpon him.

2 Samuel 1:13 (e) After the lamentation he examined him againe.

2 Samuel 1:15 (!) He causeth him to be slaine that broght the tydings.

2 Samuel 1:16 (f) Thou art justely punished for thy faute.

2 Samuel 1:18 (g) That they might be able to match their enemies the Philistims in that arte.
