Geneva Bible Notes: Job 25

Job 25:1 ! Bildad proueth that no man is cleane nor without sinne before God.

Job 25:2 a His purpose is to proue, that albeit God trye and afflict the juste, yet sone after he sendeth prosperitie, & because he did not so to Job, he concludeth that he is wicked.

Job 25:3 b Who can hide him frm his presence?

Job 25:4 c That is, be juste in respect of God?

Job 25:5 d If God shew his power, the moone & starres can not haue that light, which is giuen them, muche lesse can man haue any excellencie, but of God.
